Denza, the Chinese company that is a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and BYD, has recently revealed the launch of two SUVs simultaneously. One of these is the Denza N7, a medium-sized five-seater SUV that is scheduled for an official unveiling in April. Denza has not yet confirmed the name of its second model, tentatively known as the Denza N8. This model is a six- or seven-seater large SUV and is set to be revealed later this year.
And today, the carmaker unveiled its upcoming models in a promotional video showcasing the vehicles undergoing winter testing, including the Denza D9 serial minivan.

As we can see, the wheels of the N8 are densely arranged, while its front side is long with a narrow set of daytime running lights.
Denza N7
While the N7 has sharp headlights, wing-shaped decorations on its lower front face which may house LED lights, and is equipped with five-spoke wheels. Compared to the N8, its roof has a sleeker appearance.
Currently, the specific technical specifications for the new items are still unknown. But, Denza claims that the letter ‘N’ signifies the arrival of a new era of intelligence and limitless driving control. Although this statement is undoubtedly PR-speaking, it indicates that the N7 and N8 models will come with advanced driving assistance systems.
Recall, the N7 SUV was based on the Denza Inception concept car, which was unveiled by the company during the Chinese Auto Show held in Chengdu in August 2022.
The BYD 3.0 platform serves as the foundation for the construction of the car. The manufacturer has plans to launch the N7 with two power options: hybrid and electric. As per reports, the eco-friendly variant of the SUV boasts a swift acceleration of 0 to 100 in just 3 seconds.
The Denza lineup is comprised of five offerings named after the brand name – D, E, N, Z, and A. The D series represents the manufacturer’s MPV models, including the latest release of the Denza D9. On the other hand, the N series refers to their SUV range, while the other categories include sedans and coupes.
