The ongoing pandemic has forced companies to hold virtual launch events online. Just a few weeks after Apple held an online launch event, Google is about to take the stage. The company will hold a launch event at 11:00 am PT tonight. Google will unveil devices including the Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G, a new Chromecast, and smart speakers under the Nest brand.

A few hours before the launch event, a notable tipster, Jon Prosser, leaked a live photo of the Google Pixel 5. The photo shows both the front and back of the smartphone, further confirming the previously leaked images.

As shown in these pictures, the phone appears to have symmetrical bezels on all four front sides. There is a punch-hole camera in the top left corner of the screen. The rear of the phone looks somewhat plain and uninspiring, and the rear camera module is similar to what we have seen on many smartphones lately. Fortunately, Google has decided to include a fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 5, a feature that was missing on the Pixel 4 series. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the device, which is quite rare among smartphones in this price range.
