A few days back, Huawei launched its main flagship series’ successor models: the Mate 60 models and Mate X5 folding phone. The company didn’t hold any launch event for launching these smartphones but controversially launched them by making social media announcements.

This morning, Huawei (on Weibo) officially announced that the company will hold a new product launch conference, “Huawei’s Autumn Product Launch Conference.” The launch conference will occur on September 25 at 2:30 PM (as per Chinese Timing).

The officials didn’t reveal the products expected to be part of this launch event. However, it is likely that in this event, the officials might emphasize the previously launched flagship models, including the Huawei Mate 60 series and Mate X5 folding flagship model.

As per sources, Huawei is confirmed to launch new products in this launch event, including the FreeBuds Pro 3 and Huawei GT 4 smartwatch. Moreover, the Mate 60 RS ULTIMATE Design (a customized version of Mate 60) will also be part of this launch event.

Huawei is also expected to properly introduce its new Kirin 9000S 5G chipset (used in the Mate 60 series and Mate X5). As per current info, the chipset is based on a 7nm manufacturing process and consists of the following cores: 1x Cortex-A720 (clocked @2.62GHz), 3x Cortex-A720 (clocked @2.15GHz), and 4x Cortex-A510 E-Cores (clocked @1.53GHz).
