Back in February 2023, OnePlus launched its OnePlus Ace 2 which was powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. The smartphone was the rebranded version of the OnePlus 11R and provided a good result in every aspect. It seems that the company is now working on the next-generation model of this lineup.

This morning, the Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of the OnePlus Ace 3 current prototype. As observed, the specifications are upgraded in comparison with the previous model. Starting from the device’s chipset, this model is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset.

The chipset is based on TSMC’s 2nd generation manufacturing process and features Cortex-X3 Super Core (clocked @3.2GHz), Snapdragon X70 5G modem and Adreno 740 (clocked @680MHz).

In addition, the device still uses the Sony IMX709 as a telephoto lens and supports 2x Zoom. It is worth mentioning that this lens is primarily used as a selfie lens. Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 3 uses a metal middle frame and features a 5500mAh battery which is upgraded from 5000mAh (as in the OnePlus Ace 2).

The charging speed is still limited to 100W but still seems a good combo with a 5500mAh battery.

As per previous info, this model will feature a 6.74-inch OLED Single Punch-Hole display that supports 1.5K resolution. In terms of camera, this smartphone will also use the following lenses: Sony IMX890 50MP lens and 8MP OV08D10 lens in addition to Sony IMX709.

At the moment, the information regarding the OnePlus Ace 3 is very low. However, it is expected to launch as the rebranded version of the OnePlus 12R. Plus, the launch is expected very soon.
