Since January this year, Redmi has been teasing the Redmi K40. Today, three Xiaomi phones received 3C certification, including two K40 series devices.
According to several Weibo bloggers, the M2102J2SC should be a new version of the Xiaomi 10, M2012K11AC is the Redmi K40, and M2012K11C is the Redmi K40 Pro. They all come with an MDY-11-EX charger. This charger supports up to 33W (11VDC, 3A) fast charging.
The 3C certification has not disclosed more information about these devices. What is currently known is that all devices support 5G connectivity and are manufactured by Xiaomi Communications Technology Co., Ltd. The M2102J2SC is produced by FIH Precision Electronics (Langfang) Co., Ltd., while the M2012K11AC and M2012K11C are manufactured by Xi’an BYD Electronics Co., Ltd.
Earlier, Redmi announced that the K40 series will be launched this month. The K40 Pro will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and may feature a flat screen. The device comes with a battery capacity of over 4,000 mAh, with a starting price of 2999 yuan.
In addition, reports indicate that the new K40 series will feature a slightly curved display rather than a waterfall screen. The internal stacking structure of the new device has been optimized, resulting in a smaller body than the previous generation. The K40 series will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 series chipset.
