However, before the launch, the company teased the upcoming phone again, providing some information about the features that will be included in the Honor Play 7T.
According to the latest news, the Honor Play 7T will have a large 6000mAh battery, providing long battery life. In addition, the phone supports up to 256GB of storage and comes with a 6.74-inch eye-care display.
Expected design of the new phone
According to the render released by Honor, the phone is expected to feature a waterdrop screen, with a dual-camera setup on the back and the flash located to the right of the lenses.
Honor has a reputation for its smartphone battery technology, and its recently launched Magic 5 series features a battery named ‘Qinghai Lake.’ This battery uses silicon-carbon anode technology, which can significantly increase battery capacity and extend battery life. As a result, the Magic 5 Pro has now become the first flagship device to feature a battery over 5,000 mAh.
Compared to traditional graphite anode batteries, the energy density of carbon-silicon anode batteries is increased by 12.8%. In addition, by using low-voltage charging polymerization technology, the capacity of low-voltage batteries has increased by an astonishing 240%. This not only means longer battery life for the Magic5 Pro but also brings a more efficient charging process, ultimately providing users with a superior experience.
Thanks to this technology, the Honor Play 7T may feature both a large-capacity battery and a relatively slim body. In addition, a Chinese blog reports that the Honor Play 7T will offer two storage options: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Consumers will have the choice of three colors: Titanium Silver, Magic Night Black, and Charm Sea Blue.
