Honor Play 7T Debut On March 28 With a Large 6000mAh Battery

Recently, Wei Xiaolong, the product manager of the Honor Play series, made an announcement on his personal Weibo account that the Honor Play 7T series will officially debut on March 28.

However, before the launch, the company teased the upcoming phone again, providing some information about the features that will be included in the Honor Play 7T.

According to the latest information, the Honor Play 7T will be equipped with a large 6000mAh battery, which promises to deliver reliable battery life. In addition, the phone will have a maximum storage capacity of 256GB and a 6.74-inch screen designed for eye protection.

Expected design of the new phone

Based on the renderings released by Honor, the phone is expected to feature a water drop screen design on the front and a dual-camera setup on the back, with the flash located on the right side of the lens.

Honor has a reputation for its smartphone battery technology, having recently released the Honor Magic 5 series, which features a body battery using “Qinghai Lake”. It utilizes silicon-carbon anode technology, which has the capability of significantly increasing the battery capacity and improving the overall battery life. As a result, the Magic 5 Pro is now considered the first flagship device to feature a battery exceeding 5000mAh capacity.

When compared to the traditional graphite anode batteries, the energy density of carbon-silicon anode technology batteries is increased by 12.8%. Furthermore, with the use of low-voltage charge polymerization technology, the capacity of low-voltage batteries has been able to increase by a remarkable 240%. This not only means that the battery of the Magic5 Pro lasts longer, but it also results in a more efficient charging process and ultimately, a better user experience.

Thanks to this technology, the Honor Play 7T may also offer a large battery and a relatively thin and lightweight design. Moreover, a Chinese blog reports that the Honor Play7T will be available in two memory versions – 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Consumers will have the choice of three colors: Titanium Silver, Magic Night Black, and Charm Sea Blue.
