A few weeks before, Honor released its Honor Magic V2, a foldable flagship phone just like Huawei’s Mate X3 (but with a different camera design). The latest news from the industry has revealed that Honor is looking forward to releasing another foldable device similar to Huawei’s Mate Xs 2.

This morning, Honor officially announced that the all-new Honor V Purse will be launched on September 19 at 7:30 PM (as per Chinese Timing) in Shanghai. In the official announcement, the device’s appearance can be observed which is quite similar to Mate Xs 2.

The smartphone features a foldable screen, and in the folded state, the back screen has the rear camera setup, which includes two camera lenses. In addition, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

The officials previously stated that the thickness of the Honor V Purse is less than 9mm, and the back screen (in folded state) can display some dynamic images. Through the help of some portable accessories, it can be turned into a decorative handbag.

The specifications of the device are not revealed yet. However, through the 3C Certification, it was revealed that this model will use Honor’s 35W charger.

As expected, the all-new Honor V Purse will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2, the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm. The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features Cortex-X3 Super Core (clocked @3.2GHz), Adreno 740 GPU, and Snapdragon X70 5G modem.

At the moment, the information regarding the device is minimal. However, in the coming days, Honor might reveal its basic highlights.
