For a long time, it was reported that the sub-brand of Vivo (iQOO) was working on its first-ever tablet device. Even many official posters also got leaked in which every tablet’s aspect can be observed. However, the company has recently made an official announcement regarding its upcoming tablet.

This afternoon, iQOO officially announced that their first-ever tablet, “iQOO Pad,” will be launched on May 23 at 7 PM (as per Chinese Timing) in the same launch event of the iQOO Neo8 series. The company has revealed a teaser video in which its appearance and chipset got revealed.

iQOO Pad Launch Date

At first sight, it can be judged that the iQOO Pad is the same as the Vivo Pad2. However, the only difference is the chipset. The all-new iQOO Pad is powered by the Dimensity 9000+ chipset instead of Dimensity 9000 (used in Vivo Pad2).

The chipset is an overclocked version of the standard Dimensity 9000 and has the same core architecture but with a higher frequency. The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and has the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Ultra-Core (@3.2GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 P-Cores (@2.85GHz), and 4x Cortex-A510 E-Cores.

In terms of specifications, the iQOO Pad will feature a 12.1 inches LCD Display that supports 2.8K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Regarding the camera, it would feature a dual camera setup (13MP+2MP) in a circle-shaped camera module on the backside. On the front, there is a single 8MP lens.

The iQOO Pad would be packed with a 10,000mAh battery in addition to 44W fast wired charging, as per 3C Certification. Moreover, the tablet would be available in the following storage options: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB, with exclusive Interstellar Gray color matching.

The all-new iQOO Pad will be launched alongside the iQOO Neo8 series. In the coming days, it is expected that iQOO will start revealing the major highlights of its iQOO Pad.
