We all know that OnePlus is set to extend its OnePlus Ace 2 lineup by launching another variant powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset. The company has confirmed this, but the release date and specifications have not yet been finalized.
This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed real photos of the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition, showing its rear appearance.
As shown in the picture, the phone features a glass back panel with a starry and matte finish. The camera module consists of a double-ring structure: the outer ring houses the main camera (64MP), while the inner ring has two auxiliary cameras (8MP and 2MP).
Overall, the OnePlus Ace 2 features flat edges and three-segment buttons. As previously revealed by Digital Chat Station, its front also uses a flat screen with a punch-hole in the center and very thin bezels.
The Dimensity Edition display is a 6.74-inch OLED Display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole is expected to house a 16MP selfie lens.
It will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset. This chipset is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and includes one Cortex-X2 super core clocked at 3.05 GHz, three Cortex-A710 performance cores clocked at 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 energy-efficient cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.
It is worth mentioning that this device has already appeared on multiple certification websites, indicating that it will support 80W fast charging.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is expected to launch in China next month (March 2023). However, there are reports that OnePlus may launch this device internationally under the name OnePlus Nord 3.
