A few days before, OnePlus announced that the all-new OnePlus Ace 2 (or OnePlus 11R for the international market) would be launched on February 7 in a launch event. After that announcement, the company is revealing the significant highlights of the device on its social media accounts.
Recently, OnePlus (on Weibo) announced that the all-new OnePlus Ace 2 would feature a 5000mAh Battery in addition to 100W SuperVOOC S charging. Before discussing other highlights, it is worth mentioning that the new OnePlus Ace 2 will debut with OPPO’s first full-link power management chip SUPERVOOC S, which helps maintain a battery life of up to 4 years (in long-term usage).
It is also worth mentioning that the new 100W Super VOOCS charging will charge 50% of the battery in just 10 minutes. The officials also revealed that the OnePlus Ace 2 would adopt an exclusive customized rendering chip along with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset (from Qualcomm).
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 is based on 4nm TSMC manufacturing which is more efficient and consumes less power. It consists of the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 (clocked @3.2GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 Performance Cores (@2.8GHz), and Cortex-A510 Energy-Efficient Cores (@2.0GHz).
Overall, the new OnePlus Ace 2 (or OnePlus 11R 5G) would be positioned as a “new benchmark for performance mobile phones.” The phone features chipsets for performance, games, and charging.
As per previous news, the new OnePlus Ace 2 will feature a 6.7 inches centered Punch-Hole AMOLED Display with a 1.5K screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The officials also revealed that this display will be the world’s first Consonance Touch display and might provide the best display touch experience in the entire industry.
On the backside, the smartphone features the same design as the standard OnePlus 11. In the camera module, we have three camera lenses: a 50MP, an 8MP, and a 2MP lens. We have a 16MP lens on the front side in a single punch hole.
The all-new OnePlus Ace 2 will be released in an upcoming event on February 7, and before that, OnePlus is expected to reveal more highlights regarding its forthcoming smartphone.
