Yesterday, Honor announced that it will launch the Honor Play5 on May 18. As the release date approaches, Honor is gradually revealing the key features of this phone. Today, another new highlight has been unveiled.

Honor Play5 charging speed

Today, Honor confirmed that the Honor Play5 will come with a 66W charger. This charger is expected to use the same model as the one for the Honor V40 series.

The expected charger has a model number HW-110600C00 and supports up to 66W (11V/6A) charging. This charger can charge the battery to 60% in 15 minutes and to 100% in 35 minutes. The above data is testing on a 4000mAh battery.

According to previous reports, the Honor Play5 will feature a 6.53-inch OLED display with a U-shaped notch and a Full HD+ resolution. The screen bezels will be significantly reduced. The phone measures 7.46 mm thick and weighs about 179 grams.

The back of the phone will feature a matrix quad-camera system (64MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor, 2MP macro lens). In addition, it will have a 3,800 mAh battery.

The phone will also have an under-display fingerprint scanner and will be available in two color options: Aurora White and Silver Gradient. The chipset used in this device is currently unknown.
