This morning, Huawei confirmed that the Nova 8 SE is about to be released. In the afternoon, Digital Chat Station revealed its live photos.
Live photos have confirmed its appearance. The device will feature a slim body with flat edges, similar to the iPhone 12 series (the material may be plastic or metal).
The body thickness is only 7.46mm, while the iPhone 12 is 7.4mm thick, which is very close to high-end smartphones. In comparison, the Nova 7 SE is 8.5mm thick. This phone weighs approximately 178 grams.
This device features a new matrix quad-camera module with an LED flash in the center. Apart from the LED flash, the camera layout is basically the same as the Nova 7i. The quad-camera system includes a 64MP sensor, an 8MP sensor, a 2MP sensor, and a 2MP sensor.
According to previous reports, the Nova 8 SE will feature a 6.53-inch OLED screen with a U-shaped notch, supporting Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. This phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity series chipset (possibly the Dimensity 800U or Dimensity 720).
The phone will have a 3800mAh battery and support 66W fast charging. It will also feature an under-display fingerprint sensor. This phone will be available in two bright colors: blue and white (as shown in the promotional poster).
The Huawei Nova 8 SE will be launched at an online event on November 5th at 2 PM. The price and storage options have not been announced yet.
