This morning, Huawei has officially confirmed the launch of the first device of the Nova 8 series, “Nova 8 SE”. In the afternoon, the famous Chinese digital blogger @Digital Chat Station has revealed the phone’s live images.

The live images have confirmed that how the phone would look. It can be seen that this new model would bring a new thin body. The phone features a flat (maybe plastic or metal) frame like Apple’s recently launched iPhone 12 series.

The thickness of sides is the only 7.46mm, while the latest iPhone 12 has a thickness of 7.4mm, very near to a flagship model. In the previous model, Nova 7 SE has a thickness of 8.5mm.

In the camera section, it can be seen that this model brings a whole new matrix four-camera design in which the LED flash is placed in the middle of the camera bump. Except for the LED Flash, the camera arrangement is almost the same as Nova 7i. The Quad camera setup includes 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP sensors.

It is also mentioned that the weight of the phone is about 178g.

As per previous reports, it was reported that the all-new Nova 8 SE will feature a 6.53 inches OLED U-Shaped Notch Display with Full-HD+ (2400x1080p) resolution and 60Hz display. It will be powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity chipset (maybe Dimensity 800U or 720).

Inside the phone, there would be a 3800mAh Battery with 66W Super-Fast Charging support. It will also feature an under-display fingerprint scanner in terms of security. The phone would be available in two shiny colors: Blue & White (as mentioned in the poster).

The all-new Huawei Nova 8 SE will be launched in an online event on 5th November (upcoming Thursday) at 2 PM. The pricing and storage options have not been confirmed yet.
