Previously, reports indicated that Huawei would launch the MatePad Pro 2 tablet and the Watch 3 series smartwatches on June 2. Now, a reliable insider blogger has confirmed that Huawei will indeed hold a new product launch event on June 2.
He revealed that the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 (codenamed Wagner) and the MatePad 2 (codenamed Marx 2) will be launched on June 2. Both new products will start pre-orders on June 2 and will go on sale on June 10.
In addition, he also stated that Huawei will launch the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro at this event. He mentioned that the two watches have slightly different functions, but both will run HarmonyOS.
Earlier reports suggested that the Huawei Watch 3 will support eSIM functionality. At the same time, the device will feature a unique design in the HarmonyOS, setting it apart from the existing GT series smartwatches.
In addition, the Huawei Watch 3 will support multi-device task transfer and more third-party applications. This feature is different from the existing GT series sports modes, as the Watch series will focus more on high-end and smart features. Although the battery life of the Huawei Watch 3 may be lower than that of the GT series, it is still competitive.

Previously, the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 appeared on the TENAA website. This device will be the first Huawei device pre-installed with HarmonyOS and will be powered by a Kirin 9000 series chipset.
