According to past practice, Apple will hold its autumn product launch event in September this year, during which it will launch the iPhone 13 series.
Although the current global chip shortage, according to the latest supply chain news, the iPhone 13 series will still be unveiled as scheduled in September.
Today, Ice Universe revealed renderings of the iPhone 13 from a mobile screen protector factory, once again confirming that Apple will continue the small notch design.
According to the images, the iPhone 13 handset is no longer centered, but instead adopts a micro-seam design similar to mainstream Android phones, hiding it between the screen and the frame to free up more space for the Face ID components. This is also the main reason why the notch area has become smaller.
Apart from changes to the notch area, there are reports that Apple will equip the iPhone 13 Pro series with a Samsung LTPO display. This display not only supports a 120Hz refresh rate but also features intelligent refresh rate adjustment, enabling automatic switching between 1Hz and 120Hz. However, the low-end iPhone 13 will not use an LTPO display and may not even support a 120Hz refresh rate, continuing to use a 60Hz screen.
As for the body design, the rendering also shows that the iPhone 13 series will still inherit the iPhone 12’s scheme, with the overall layout remaining basically the same.
