Recently, the iQOO Neo 8 has appeared on multiple certification websites, indicating that its release date is not far off.
This morning, a new device with the model number Vivo V2301A was listed on the 3C certification website. The device belongs to the iQOO Neo 8. The 3C certification has revealed its charging specifications.
As mentioned, the iQOO Neo 8 has been certified with two different chargers (V12060L0A0-CN and V12060L1H1-CN), both supporting up to 120W (20V/6A) charging, while the base charging speed of the first charger is 10W (5V/2A), and the second charger is 15W (5V/3A).
According to previous reports, the Neo 8 series will include two models: the Neo 8 and the Neo 8 Pro. It is said that the Neo 8 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset.
MediaTek has not yet announced the Dimensity 9200. However, it is expected to be launched soon. This chipset will be the same as the standard version. The only difference might be the core frequency, which is expected to be higher in Dimensity 9200+.
There is very limited information available on the Neo 8 specifications. However, the report claims that it will feature a display with a 1.5K resolution and a higher PWM dimming frequency. The top storage variant will have 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is also reported that the back of the Neo 8 will feature a 50MP main camera. The total number of camera lenses is not known yet.
The iQOO Neo 8 series is expected to launch in May 2023 in China.
