Previously, it was revealed through many certification sites that iQOO (the sub-brand of Vivo) is working on the successor models (iQOO Neo 8) of its Neo series, which denotes that the actual launch isn’t that far. Recently, we got a look at another certification of iQOO Neo 8, which has revealed its charging specs.

This morning, a new device carrying model number “V2301A” (from Vivo) got listed on the 3C Certification site, which belongs to the standard iQOO Neo 8, as per sources. The 3C Certification has revealed the charging specifications of the device.

V2301A

As mentioned, the standard iQOO Neo 8 got certified with two different chargers (V12060L0A0-CN and V12060L1H1-CN), but both of them support a maximum 120W (20V/6A) charging while the base charging speed is 10W (5V/2A) in the first model while in the second model, it is 15W (5V/3A).

Except for this, the 3C Certification hasn’t revealed anything more.

As per previous reports, the Neo 8 series would consist of two models: iQOO Neo 8 Standard and iQOO Neo 8 Pro. The standard model is reportedly powered by Dimensity 9200+ flagship chipset from MediaTek.

The Dimensity 9200+ is currently not announced by Mediatek. However, it is expected to launch soon. Regarding specifications, the chipset would be the same as the standard version. The only difference would be the core frequency, which is expected to be higher in Dimensity 9200+.

The specs information regarding the Neo 8 is very minimal. However, the reports claim it would feature a display with a 1.5K resolution and higher PWM dimming frequency. The highest storage variant will have 16 Gigs of RAM and 256GB of storage. It was also reported that the Neo 8 would feature a 50MP primary sensor on the backside. The total number of camera lenses is not known yet.

The all-new iQOO Neo 8 series is expected to be launched in May 2023 in the domestic market (China).
