This afternoon, iQOO quietly launched the iQOO U1x. A few months ago, we reported that vivo planned to introduce the U series in the iQOO product line, and the brand had already submitted the relevant trademark applications.
The iQOO U1x is a mid-range smartphone. It features a 6.52-inch U-shaped notch display. The display uses a Super AMOLED panel with a 720 x 1600 (HD) resolution. The phone measures approximately 164.41 x 76.32 x 8.41 mm and weighs around 192 grams.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 (11nm) chipset, which is an octa-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz. This chipset comes with an Adreno 610 GPU. The phone has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 18W (9V/2A) fast-charging.
The back of the phone has a triple camera system (13MP, 2MP, 2MP). On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera in the U-shaped notch. The body retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro-USB charging port, and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
This phone is available in three storage variants: 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB, and comes in two color options: Frost White and Dark Black.
The phone’s price has not been announced, but it has been confirmed that it will not exceed 999 yuan (approximately $150). The device will go on sale on November 1.
