This afternoon, the sub-brand of Vivo, iQOO has quietly launched a new phone – iQOO U1x. A few months ago, we reported that Vivo plans to launch the U series in its iQOO segment as they filed for its trademark.

The new iQOO U1x is a new mid-range phone from iQOO. The phone features a U-Shaped Notch display with a size of 6.52 inches. The display is a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1600 (HD+). The phone has dimensions of about 164.41×76.32×8.41 and weighs around 192g.

Inside the phone, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 (11nm), an octa-core chipset with a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz. The chipset comes with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery and 18W (9V, 2A) fast charging.

The phone is equipped with a triple camera (13MP+2MP+2MP) setup on the backside. While on the front side, it got a single 8MP camera in the u-shaped notch. The phone also got a 3.5mm headphone jack with a Micro-USB port. It also features a side fingerprint scanner in the lock screen button.

The phone comes in three different storage variants: 4+64GB, 6+64GB, and 6+128GB with two different colors: Morning Frost White and Dark Black.

The phone pricing is not mentioned, but it is confirmed that the price will not be more than 999 yuan (Equivalent to 150$). It will be available for sale on 1st November.
