Today, the iQOO U3 5G quietly launched on the official website. The starting price is 1,498 yuan, and pre-orders are now open. A 50 yuan deposit will deduct 100 yuan from the purchase price, and it will go on sale on December 18.
The iQOO U3 features a 6.58-inch FHD LCD waterdrop screen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. It has an 8MP front camera, and the rear camera module consists of a 48MP + 2MP dual-camera setup. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 800U chipset, which scores over 330,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark. It has a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The device weighs 185.5 grams and is 8.4 mm thick.
The front three-sided bezel is very narrow, while the bottom bezel is slightly wider, but the visual effect is acceptable. The phone uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the rear camera module features a matrix design, with a large lens on top and a smaller lens and flash at the bottom. The bottom of the camera is marked with the ‘iQOO’ logo, and it is available in Taichi Black and Shiny Blue color options.
The iQOO U3 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 1498 yuan ($229), and the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 1698 yuan ($259).
