Recently, rumors have circulated that Qualcomm is planning to launch a chipset with model number SM7475. Just yesterday, this chipset appeared on Geekbench, with its performance indicating that it is positioned as a mid-range SoC.
This morning, Qualcomm announced that it will hold a new product launch event in Beijing on March 17. At that time, it will unveil the SM7475 chipset, which will become the latest option in the Snapdragon 7 series.

According to rumors, this chipset may be named Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7 Gen 2. As mentioned earlier, it also appeared on the Geekbench website, revealing its specifications.
This chipset will be manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and will feature the following cores: one Cortex-A710 core at 2.92 GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores at 2.5 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is Adreno 730.
The specifications are very similar to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The SM7475 chipset may be a downclocked version of this chipset, but it has not yet been confirmed.
Geekbench benchmark data also revealed that its performance surpasses the Dimensity 8200 and is on par with the Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets.
Some sources also reported that the same chipset will be used in the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which will be launched globally under the name Poco F5.
For complete information regarding the SM7475 chipset, we have to wait until March 17.
