It seems that Vivo is almost ready to launch its new foldable device, as related leaks and rumors continue to surface. Recently, an official promotional PPT was leaked, suggesting that the release of the foldable device is very close.
This morning, a Weibo blogger shared the official promotional materials for the Vivo X Fold2, revealing all the device’s details. It features an 8.03-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED main screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1916, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits of brightness.

The secondary display is a 6.53-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with a 2520 x 1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits of brightness. It is worth mentioning that both displays will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

The poster also mentioned that the vivo X Fold2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, along with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. This chipset is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and features a Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.39 GHz.
This new foldable phone also comes with the Vivo V2 ISP chip to enhance imaging performance and supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
The phone will have a 4800mAh battery, supporting 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. According to the official poster, the smartphone can be charged to 100% in 25 minutes with the 120W charger, while with the 50W wireless charger, it will take 40 minutes.

According to previous reports, the phone will feature a triple camera system (circular module), including a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera and two 12MP Sony IMX663 lenses. Rumors also suggest that the Vivo X Fold2 will weigh around 270 grams.
It is expected that Vivo will launch the Vivo X Fold2, the Vivo X Flip, and the Vivo Pad2 before the end of this month.
