It seems that Vivo is almost there to officially announce its new foldable devices as the leaks and rumors are getting revealed continuously. Recently, we got a look at the official PPT leak, which hints that the launch of Vivo’s upcoming folding devices is very near.

This morning, the blogger @Dragon II Pro (on Weibo) revealed the official promotional materials of Vivo X Fold2 in which almost every aspect of this device can be observed. Starting from the display, the primary (foldable) screen would be 8.03 inches and is a Samsung E6 AMOLED Display that supports 2160*1916p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800nits brightness.

The secondary display is a 6.53 inches Samsung E6 AMOLED Display that supports 2520*1080p resolution, the same 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600nits brightness. It is worth mentioning that both displays will be equipped with an ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

The posters also mentioned that the Vivo X Fold2 would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset and is also equipped with the latest combo of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 Storage. The chipset is the best you can get from Qualcomm and is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process, comes with new 1+4+3 core architecture, and features Cortex-X3 Super Core (clocked @3.39GHz).

The new foldable smartphone also features the Vivo V2 ISP chip for better imaging and supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Regarding battery life, the Vivo X Fold2 will feature a 4800mAh battery cell in addition to 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone can be charged 100% within 25 minutes with this 120W charging, while with the 50W wireless charger, it would take 40 minutes, as per official posters.

As per previous news, it was revealed that Vivo X Fold2 would feature a triple camera setup (in a circle-shaped module.), including a Sony IMX866 50MP Primary lens and 2x Sony IMX663 12MP lens. The rumors also claimed that the new Vivo X Fold2 would weigh around 270g.

It is expected that Vivo will release the Vivo X Fold2 along with Vivo X Flip and Vivo Pad2 before the end of this month.
