The Huawei Mate 40 series will be unveiled in the coming weeks, and the new phone cases have already been revealed on Weibo.
According to leaked information, four phones will be launched this year: the Huawei Mate 40, Huawei Mate 40 Pro, and two others, which are very likely the Mate 40 Pro+ and the Porsche Design.
Digital Chat Station has revealed the protective cases for the Huawei Mate 40 series. The cases show that the new phones retain the volume and power buttons, with a larger camera module and no flash hole, suggesting that the flash might have been moved into the camera module. Additionally, the top of the Mate 40 Pro appears to feature dual-speaker holes, while the top of the Mate 40 may still retain a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In addition, a Weibo user shared photos of the Mate 40 with a protective case, as well as detailed images of the front glass, showing that the screen edges are slightly curved. Previous reports indicated that the Mate 40 will feature a 6.5-inch waterfall display, while other models will come with a 6.78-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.
This series is expected to be released in September. This series may be the last phones to feature the Kirin chipset. The new Kirin 9000 chipset will be unveiled in Berlin in the next few days.
