Today, Huawei announced on Weibo that the Huawei Nova 8 series will be launched on December 23, with the slogan ‘Let me take the photo, create my story.’

The rear design of the Huawei Nova 8 series has appeared in a teaser poster. The rear camera module in the upper-left corner is quite distinctive, and the oval design is the first time I’ve seen it on a Huawei phone.

Previously, a tech blogger reported that the Nova 8 will be powered by a Kirin chip and will start at around 3,000 yuan; the Nova 8 Pro will start at around 4,000 yuan. Both devices will go on sale on December 30.

Of course, not all Nova 8 models will feature HiSilicon Kirin chips; some models are expected to use MediaTek Dimensity chips or other Kirin chips.

According to previous reports, the Nova 8 is expected to feature a 6.5-inch FHD 60Hz LCD screen with a single punch-hole in the top left corner. It will feature a 16MP front camera, and the rear camera will consist of 48MP, 8MP, 2MP, and 2MP sensors. The device has a built-in 4000mAh battery and supports 40W fast charging.
