Today, several new Huawei devices appeared on the MIIT certification website. These new models have model numbers JSC-AN00 and HJC-AN00, codenamed Jessica and JessicaH, respectively.
According to Digital Chat Station, these new models belong to the Nova 8 series. The blogger stated that the above codenames are precisely for the Huawei Nova 8 series devices that are about to be launched.
It is reported that only Jessica is the Nova 8, while JessicaH is the Nova 8 Pro. Previously, Huawei launched the Nova 7 SE (Special Edition), so it is expected that Huawei will continue this approach this time as well.
Previously, a Weibo blogger had revealed the screen of the Huawei Nova 8. This series will continue to use a dual-punch-hole AMOLED screen and will upgrade the refresh rate (possibly up to 120Hz).
This series is expected to feature Huawei’s latest high-end chipset, possibly the Kirin 9000 series. However, due to limited chip production, the series may still use the Kirin 990 5G chipset. In the future, Huawei may use chips from other companies.
Currently, there is no further information about this new series. At present, Huawei is planning to launch the Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition with a MediaTek chipset.
