Today, some new models from Huawei have been spotted on the famous Chinese certification site, “MIIT Certification” (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). The new models have model numbers “JSC-AN00” and “HJC-AN00” with a codename Jessica and JessicaH, respectively.

According to the famous Chinese blogger, “Digital Chat Station,” these new models belong from Huawei’s (not launched yet) Nova8 series. The blogger said that the codename mentioned above are the devices of Huawei’s upcoming Nova 8 series.

It is expected that only “Jessica” is the standard version of Nova 8, while the “JessicaH” is the pro version of Nova8. Previously, Huawei has also launched an SE (Special Edition) of the Nova 7 series. So it is also expected that this time Huawei will do the same thing once more.

Previously, the famous blogger (on Weibo) @Changan Digital King has already exposed the display of Huawei Nova 8. It was observed that the Nova 8 series would continue to use the same dual punch-hole AMOLED display with an upgraded display’s refresh rate (maybe up to 120Hz).

It is also expected that the new Nova series will feature Huawei’s latest high-end flagship chipset, which may be Kirin 9000 series chipset. But due to less production of the chipset, this series may stick with Kirin 990 5G chipset. It is also expected that Huawei might use other company’s chipset in the future.

For now, there is no more information regarding this new series. But it’s development phase confirmed that Huawei might launch this series soon. Currently, Huawei is planning to launch the new Vitality edition of Huawei Nova 7 SE with Mediatek chipset.
