Today, the long-rumored Huawei monitor has finally surfaced and received 3C certification. It has been confirmed that its LCD panels are supplied by BOE (Hefei BOE Vision Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.). The models are AD80HN and AD80HW.

Huawei smart monitor 3C certification

Given Huawei’s current situation, using BOE’s screens is arguably the most reasonable choice, and their panels fully meet demand across the high-end to low-end range.

More specifications are temporarily unknown, but it is reported that Huawei and Honor’s monitor products will be named ‘smart monitor,’ consistent with the naming of smart TVs. The difference is that Huawei and Honor will use the same certification. In other words, apart from the logo, there is no difference.

According to previous reports, Huawei’s monitors cover high-end, mid-range, and low-end product lines, and the relevant products have been tested for over a year. One 32-inch monitor uses a 512-zone or 1024-zone local dimming solution similar to mini-LED backlight technology, features a dedicated adaptation mode for Huawei and Honor phones, and will be integrated into the Huawei ecosystem.

According to reports, Huawei monitors will feature a special mode compatible with phones, including support for the Realtek C-Port magic split-screen function (allowing split-screen operation between the phone and computer, with the mouse able to be dragged from the computer to the phone, while also supporting mouse operations and keyboard input).
