Back in October 2022, iQOO extended the iQOO Neo7 lineup by launching its Special Edition. The smartphone was powered by the Dimensity 8200 sub-flagship chipset and fell in the price segment of around 300$. The latest reports reveal that the company is looking forward to releasing another model in its iQOO Neo7 lineup.

This morning, the famous blogger Digital Chat Station reported that a new device from iQOO (Vivo’s sub-brand) carrying the model number “V2232A” has been listed on TENAA certification. The certification includes the device renders which are mentioned below:

From the renders, it can be observed that the iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition is very much similar to the standard iQOO Neo7 and Neo7 SE. In addition to renders, the blogger also revealed some expected specifications.

iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition Specifications

As per the blogger, the all-new iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset instead of Dimensity 9000+ (featured in the standard iQOO Neo7).

In terms of specifications, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and has lower power consumption when compared with the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen1. Moreover, the core architecture is the same, but the only difference is the high frequency of Cortex-X2 Super Core, i.e., 3.2GHz.

The blogger also stated that the device would feature 6.78 inches AMOLED Flat Display with Full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display seems to be the same one used in the standard iQOO Neo7. The charging power is also expected to be the same 120W charging as in the standard version.

Furthermore, the iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition will also be available in a 16+512GB Storage option which isn’t available in the other two models.

We can expect that other specifications would also be most probably the same. However, there is no news regarding the device’s launch.
