Today, Meizu’s official Weibo announced that it will launch the ‘Flyme for Watch’ system in the fourth quarter of this year, confirming that the company will launch a smartwatch product.

In fact, a smartwatch has quietly made its debut on Meizu’s eighth-anniversary celebration poster released yesterday. This smartwatch features a square display and will be Meizu’s first smartwatch.

On June 25th, Meizu’s Flyme celebrated its eighth anniversary. The system has now been upgraded to the Flyme 8.1 beta, with the total number of users surpassing 100 million. Meizu announced yesterday that the Flyme system based on Android 10 is now open for internal test recruitment, and the first internal beta will be officially released on July 21st.
