After the Qualcomm Summit, major manufacturers are working intensively on developing phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. As one of the participants in this race, Nubia’s upcoming gaming phone has already had related leaks and rumors surface online.
This morning, the Red Magic 8 Pro appeared on the TENAA certification website, revealing its specifications and renderings. The specifications and renderings are as follows:

- 16 Million Color Depth
- Dimensions: 163.98 x 76.35 x 8.9 mm and Weight: 228g
- Octa-Core chipset with 3.2 GHz main frequency (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2)
- Two Battery versions: 4900 mAh and 5720 mAh
- Triple Rear Camera Setup (50MP, 8MP, 2MP) and an 8MP Under-display lens
- Under-display fingerprint sensor
- 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage
It is worth mentioning that the Red Magic 8 Pro will feature an under-display camera, increasing the screen-to-body ratio and enhancing the gaming experience. In addition, the back of the phone is made of transparent glass, continuing the phone’s gaming aesthetic style.
The chipset is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and this information has been confirmed through multiple sources. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process. It features one Cortex-X3 super core clocked at 3.2 GHz, two Cortex-A715 and two Cortex-A710 performance cores clocked at 2.8 GHz, and three Cortex-A510 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0 GHz.
