As per official announcements, we are now only two days far from the launch of OPPO Reno’s successor series, which would be named the “OPPO Reno7 Series.” The device’s appearance was also revealed in the previous warm-up posts, but the specifications were missing.

But now, the famous Chinese smartphone manufacturing company has started to reveal the significant highlights of the device. This morning, OPPO (on Weibo) has officially announced that the new Reno7 series will feature the Sony IMX709 sensor, a 32MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

The officials didn’t mention whether this lens would be placed on the front side or backside because reports claimed that the 32MP lens would be placed on the front side while the rear primary lens would be a 50MP shooter lens.

It is also worth mentioning that it would be the first time a smartphone would feature Sony IMX709 super-sensitive cat-eye lens.

In the past, renders of the Reno7 series were also revealed, and it was observed that both models (Standard and Pro) feature a Single Punch-Hole AMOLED Display. While on the backside, the standard Reno7 got the triple camera setup and the Pro version features a quad camera setup.

In terms of internals, it is expected that the standard Reno7 will feature the Dimensity 900 5G premium mid-range chipset, while the Reno7 Pro will feature the Dimensity 1200 5G flagship chipset. In total, there would be three models: Reno7 (standard), Reno7 Pro, and Reno7 SE.
