Today, Digital Chat Station revealed the Lu Master benchmark results of an engineering prototype powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset. As shown in the images, the chip’s codename is Lahaina. Previously, Qualcomm announced that it would hold a Snapdragon chip launch event in Hawaii in December.

In addition, according to Master Lu’s benchmark, the Snapdragon 875 engineering prototype’s core frequency can reach around 2.84 GHz, with a total CPU score of 333,269 and a total GPU score of 342,225.
For comparison, the blogger also provided detailed benchmark data for the Snapdragon 865 and Kirin 9000 processors with the new drivers. Their CPU/GPU scores are 290,169/294,913 and 275,862/344,344, respectively. However, since this is an engineering prototype, there is a gap between it and the final retail version, which cannot be used as a reference.
In addition, Digital Chat Station stated that the Xiaomi 11 will first feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset in China (the Samsung Galaxy S21 series is likely to be the first to launch abroad) and that Xiaomi will have an exclusive period for this chip.
The Snapdragon 875 is manufactured using a 5nm process and features a ‘1+3+4’ octa-core architecture, where the ‘1’ refers to the Cortex X1 core, whose peak performance is 23% higher than the Cortex A78.
