In October 2019, Xiaomi launched an enhanced version of the Mi Notebook Pro 15. This morning, Xiaomi confirmed that it will launch the Mi Notebook 15 Pro 2020.
Xiaomi has just released a poster for its upcoming laptop. The poster shows that the new laptop looks almost the same as its predecessor. Other specifications have not yet been officially confirmed.
According to some sources, this laptop will be powered by an Intel i7-10510U processor. This chipset features a quad-core architecture with an 8MB cache. The maximum frequency of all cores can reach 4.9 GHz.
In addition, reports indicate that the display quality has also been significantly improved. The color gamut coverage has expanded from the 72% NTSC to 100% sRGB. The laptop also comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory (frequency: 2666 MHz), which will operate in dual-channel mode.
The cooling system has also been significantly improved. The new laptop features a dual heat pipe design, replacing the single heat pipe solution used in its predecessor. The Mi Notebook 15 Pro 2020 has also upgraded its software, allowing users to access features such as Mi Share, Mi Gallery, Mi Cloud Services, and Smart Unlock.
The Mi Notebook Pro 15 2020 is set to be launched on June 12. It is most likely that it will be launched in an online event.
