Last year, in October 2019. Xiaomi launched the enhanced version of Mi Notebook Pro 15. This morning, Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch of its new 2020 Mi Notebook 15 Pro.
Currently, Xiaomi has just released a poster for its upcoming Notebook. From the poster, it can be observed that the look of the forthcoming Notebook is almost the same as the previous year’s Notebook has. The other specification has not yet been confirmed officially.
From some sources, it was reported that the new upcoming enhanced version of Xiaomi’s Notebook would be powered by the Intel i7-10510U processor. The new Intel’s chipset is a quad-core processor with eight threads and 8MB of cache memory. All of the cores has a maximum frequency of 4.9 GHz.
Moreover, it is also reported that display quality is much improved. The screen has been upgraded. The color gamut is updated from the original 72% NTSC to 100% sRGB. The Notebook is also equipped with a 16GB of DDR4 RAM (Frequency: 2666 MHz). It will use 16GB RAM in dual-channel mode.
The heat dissipation system is also much improved. The new Notebook uses a dual heat pipe setup instead of a single heat pipe used in previous generations. The upcoming 2020 Mi Notebook also got upgraded software experience. Now, the user will get some new features like Xiaomi Mutual Transmission, Xiaomi Pictorial, Xiaomi Cloud Service, and Intelligent Unlocking.
The new Mi Notebook Pro 15 2020 is set to be launched on 12th June. It is most likely that it will be launched in an online event.
