After OPPO launched the OPPO A72 in July, a new model suspected of being a low-end version of the A72 has recently passed the certification of the TENAA with a number of PDYM10. The phone appeared in the China Telecom database a few days ago, and the name of the phone, renderings, and some configurations were also officially exposed.
According to the information on the page, this new machine called OPPO A72n 5G uses a 6.5-inch LCD Punch-Hole screen on the front. The page does not display the resolution of the LCD screen, and it should be 2400 x 1080 like A72 5G.
The phone is powered by MediaTek MT 6853V (Dimensity 720) processor and equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM storage combination. The phone comes with an 8MP selfie lens on the front and a 16MP+8MP+2MP square three-camera module on the rear with a flash. It is run ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
In terms of price, the OPPO A72n 5G 8 + 128GB version shows a price of 1899 yuan ($278), with two colors of simple black and neon gradient. However, the previous A72 5G only sold for 1899 yuan, so the 1899 yuan on the telecom page may not be the actual price. As a low-end version of the A72, the price should be more cheaper.
