On the morning of July 21, Nubia announced the release date of the RedMagic 5S gaming phone: July 28, which is next Tuesday.
The full name of this press conference is the ‘RedMagic 5S Gaming Phone and Smart Ecosystem New Product Launch Event,’ and its theme is ‘Ice Wind Silver Wings, Faster Than Faster!’
The so-called “Ice Wind Silver Wing” represents that the new phone has upgraded the cooling technology to a new level. Its biggest highlight is the silver-plated cooling system.
It is reported that the RedMagic 5S uses the world’s highest thermal conductivity metal process, Silver (ICE Ag), combined with a 4843mm² ultra-large heat-dissipating copper foil to conduct heat outward, and integrates a built-in 15,000 RPM high-performance centrifugal fan, transparent airflow design, high-performance thermal gel, and extra-large liquid cooling pipes.
The so-called ‘Ice Wind’ refers to a peripheral accessory for the new device, the Ice Wind Cooling Magic Box, which quickly absorbs and dissipates heat through a fan. This magic box also supports a 3.5mm headphone jack and 30W PD fast charging, allowing you to connect wired headphones and play while charging during gaming.
As a gaming phone, the RedMagic 5S is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset. Its screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and it comes with dual gaming shoulder buttons. The device uses the industry’s leading dual IC touch chip solution and supports a touch sampling rate of up to 320Hz.
