The President (Ni Fei) has also mentioned: “The breakthrough in screen refresh rate will once again lead the industry trend!”

Its predecessor, the RedMagic 5G, came with a 144Hz screen, so there is widespread expectation that the RedMagic 6 will feature a higher 165Hz refresh rate. It is worth mentioning that the RedMagic 3 was the first phone to feature a 90Hz screen.

It is reported that there would be four main highlights of this new gaming series:

  • Snapdragon 888 chipset (with Cortex-X1 core)
  • A new cooling system
  • A 4500mAh battery
  • 120W Gallium Nitride charger (It only takes 5 minutes to charge the battery from 0% to 50%)

The gaming phone will be available in two versions: the RedMagic 6 and the RedMagic 6 Pro. Although it continues the classic ‘X’ element, it will undergo significant changes compared to its predecessor.

The rear camera module also uses a new design. At the same time, the ‘Tencent Game’ logo in the center of the ‘X’-shaped metal component is also very prominent.
