Today, Smartisan announced on Weibo that it will hold a new product launch event in Beijing, China, on October 20 at 19:30 (China Standard Time). Tickets for the event will be provided free of charge. Smartisan has not released a new smartphone for a long time, and this will be the company’s first new product launch event of the year.

A new Smartisan phone has recently received 3C certification. The 3C certification indicates that the phone supports up to 55W fast charging via a USB Type-C adapter. Smartisan product manager Zhu Haizhou showcased a phone prototype last month.

The phone shown in the picture is held in someone’s hand, with a display featuring thin bezels on all four sides, much like the Meizu 17. The back panel of the phone is white. As for other configurations, its rear camera will feature a 100MP main sensor, along with other sensors. The phone will also support 5G network connectivity. Its name has not been announced yet, but it could be called the Smartisan Nut Pro 4 or Smartisan R2.
