For a long time, there have been industry rumors that Samsung might launch the Galaxy S22 series at the end of January. This morning, Ice Universe revealed the release dates for the Galaxy S22 series and the Tab S8 series.
According to the blogger, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22 series and Tab S8 series at the UNPACKED product launch event on February 9 at 11 PM (China time). Aside from the release date and time, the blogger did not reveal any further information in his latest Weibo post.
According to previous reports, the Galaxy S22 series will feature the Exynos 2200 chipset (jointly developed by Samsung and AMD) and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
However, sources indicate that the Exynos version may be limited to a few regions (unlike last year), while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version will be available more widely.
Reports indicate that Samsung will release its new models slightly later this year. Last year, the Galaxy S21 series was launched in January 2021, while the Tab S7 series debuted in August 2020. As for the full specifications, we will have to wait for more leaks or the launch event to find out.
