This morning, we found a new leak regarding the upcoming phone of Samsung. It was reported that Samsung is working on the next generation of its M-Series, which usually belongs to entry-level and mid-range devices.

Today, a battery with a model number “EB-BM425ABY” has been spotted on 3C Certification. According to our observations, this battery belongs to Samsung’s upcoming phone, “Galaxy M42”. As the battery model number consists of “M425”, it can be easily pointed out that this would be Galaxy M42’s battery.

Galaxy M42 3C Certification

The battery has a capacity of 5830mAh (approximately 6000mAh). It is also mentioned that this is a secondary Li-ion battery. The applicant and manufacturer of this battery are “Ningde Amperex Technology Limited.” This is the same company that also manufactured the Galaxy S21 series battery.

The 3C Certification has been revealed on 16th November 2020.

As previously reported, it seems like Samsung has skipped the Galaxy M41 and planning to launch Galaxy M42. It is also expected that more devices may also get revealed with this device. It is also reported that Galaxy M41 will feature a 64MP primary camera sensor and 128 Gigs of storage.

The new Galaxy M42 may feature Snapdragon 700 series chipset like SD720G. Currently, this is the second leak regarding the upcoming device. The phone may also feature Samsung’s 25W charging as the phone has a large battery.

It may be launch after Galaxy S21 series launch.
