For a long time, it has been rumored that Samsung might launch the all-new Galaxy S22 at the end of January, while for the Galaxy Tab S8 series, it was first rumored that it would be launched along with Galaxy S21 FE and now with the Galaxy S22 flagship series. However, this discussion has finally come to an end.
This morning, the famous Chinese blogger and legit information source @IceUniverse (famous for his Samsung leaks) has finally revealed the final and confirmed launch date of the Galaxy S22 series and Tab S8 series.
As per the blogger, the new Galaxy S22 series and Tab S8 series will be released on February 9 at 11:00 PM (Chinese timing) in the UNPACKED Event of Samsung. Except for the launch date and time, the blogger hasn’t mentioned anything more in his latest Weibo post.
As per previous information, the new Galaxy S22 series will feature the new Exynos 2200 chipset, which was invented in collaboration with AMD (famous GPU and SoC manufacturing brand) and Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship chipset (depends upon the region).
However, the sources stated that the Exynos version might be limited to a few regions (unlike the previous year), and the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 version would have more availability.
It has been observed that Samsung is a bit late in launching its new flagship model this year. Last year, the Galaxy S21 series was launched in January 2021, while the Tab S7 series was launched in August 2020. For the full specifications sheet, we have to wait for more leaks or until the launch event happens.
