Some media have obtained renderings of the NIO EE7. According to the renderings, the front of the NIO EE7 appears very sharp and will also serve as NIO’s flagship sedan.
According to insiders, ‘the NIO EE7 will be an intelligent car with 5G vehicle networking technology.’ This new car will adopt Level 4 autonomous driving technology and will debut at NIO Day in early January next year, and it plans to go on sale in 2022.

The NIO EE7 features a sports car-style body design. The vehicle is expected to be built on NIO’s second-generation platform under development, with a dual-motor setup in both the front and rear, achieving all-wheel drive. NIO currently has three models, including two electric SUVs, the ES6 and ES8, and a fully electric sedan, the EC6.
The ES6 has a maximum horsepower of 544 ps, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds, and has a battery life of 610 km under the NEDC combined conditions.
The ES8 has a maximum total output power of 400 kW, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 200 km/h, with a range of 580 km under the NEDC combined conditions.
As the first electric sports car, the EC6’s appearance is not much different from the ES6. The standard and performance versions are with a 160kW front permanent magnet synchronous motor and a 240kW rear asynchronous induction motor, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The sport version comes with dual 160kW permanent magnet synchronous motors, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.
