Some media obtained the renderings of its first sedan model EE7 from NIO. Judging from the renderings, the front face of the NIO EE7 is very sharp, and it will also become the flagship sedan of NIO.
According to a person familiar with the matter, “Nio EE7 will be a smart car applying 5G Internet of Vehicles technology.” The new car will adopt L4 autonomous driving technology and will be officially unveiled on NIO Day in early January next year, and it is planned to go on sale in 2022.
NIO EE7 EE7 uses a sports car-style body design. It is expected that the car will be built on the second-generation platform being developed by NIO, with a front and rear dual-motor layout and four-wheel drive. NIO currently has three models, two electric SUV, ES6 and ES8, and an electric car EC6.
The ES6 has a maximum horsepower of 544ps, an acceleration of 4.7s per 100 km, and a battery life of 610km under NEDC comprehensive conditions.
The ES8 has a maximum total output power of 400kW, an acceleration of 4.9s per 100 km, a top speed of 200 km per hour, and 580 km under NEDC comprehensive conditions.
As the first electric sports car, the appearance of the EC6 is not very different from that of the ES6. The signature version and performance version are equipped with a 160kW front permanent magnet synchronous motor and 240kW rear asynchronous induction motor, with an acceleration of 4.5s from 100 km. The sports version is equipped with dual 160kW permanent magnet synchronous motors, which can accelerate from 100 km to 5.4 seconds.
